In my head
She looks straight at you, but her eyes don't match — one warm, one cool, ringed with little beads like tears that decided to become jewellery instead. This is the face I wear when I'm holding two feelings at once and can't say either of them out loud. The colour underneath is loud on purpose. What we don't say still has to go somewhere.
